RAVENFLOW NAMED AS FINALIST IN 2007 AMERICAN BUSINESS AWARDSSM

5th annual Stevie® Awards will be presented on June 11 in New York City

EMERYVILLE, Calif.—May 24, 2007—Ravenflow, the only company delivering automated requirements validation for application development organizations, was named a finalist today in the Most Innovative Company category in The 2007 American Business Awards.

"Companies engaged in software development are realizing that if they don't get requirements right, the rest of a project is likely to go awry," said Joe Marasco, president and chief executive officer of Ravenflow. "A surprisingly high percentage of projects are abandoned or come in significantly over budget because of poorly-conceived requirements. Ravenflow's graphical, English language-based approach to requirements development saves millions of dollars a year and thousands of person-hours."

The only solution that automates creation, specification and validation of requirements, RAVEN empowers the business and software development team to collaborate, communicate and manage risk during requirements validation. The solution automatically generates diagrams from plain English text, enabling even non-technical project stakeholders to gain immediate visual feedback on use cases. RAVEN facilitates the creation of precise, high quality requirements, allowing business and IT to quickly identify and correct errors before coding begins. The end result is less rework, shorter development cycles, fewer budget overruns and a high project success rate.

"Being named a Finalist in The American Business Awards is an important achievement," said Michael Gallagher, founder and president of The Stevie Awards. "It means that independent business executives have agreed that the nominee is worthy of national recognition. We congratulate all of the Finalists on their achievement and wish them well in the competition."
