RAVENFLOW CEO TO PRESENT AT INAUGURAL IEEE SYSTEMS CONFERENCE
Dr. Joe Marasco to Participate in Session on Radical Productivity Improvement
EMERYVILLE, Calif.—April 4, 2007—Ravenflow, the only company delivering automated requirements validation for application development organizations, today announced that CEO Joe Marasco will present at the first IEEE Systems Conference at the Hyatt Regency in Honolulu, Hawaii on April 10, 2007. Marasco will participate in the session on "Radical Productivity Improvement" along with Jaime Borras, Vice President and CTO of Motorola and Dr. Gopal Raghavan of Nokia.
"Ravenflow is gratified to be recognized by the IEEE as an industry leader in providing pragmatic solutions to real problems in systems development," said Dr. Marasco. "This conference brings together the best minds from industry and academia working towards achieving 10X increases in productivity, and we are glad to share our insights with the rest of the community. The IEEE Systems Conference has increased the priority placed on the requirements development process in order to achieve radical productivity improvement."
The theme of the IEEE Systems Conference is "Engineering Complex Integrated Systems and Systems-of-systems - Implications for Systems Engineering, Systems Integration, and Systems Thinking." The event serves as an interactive forum for the advancement of the practice of system design, development, and management-across the multiple disciplines and specialty areas associated with the engineering of systems. The conference provides a venue for systems engineering practitioners, managers, researchers, and educators to exchange innovative concepts, ideas, applications, and lessons learned addressing applications-oriented topics, research opportunities, as well as systems engineering, education, standards, process and methodologies for the system-of-systems environment.
