Writing and Validating Requirements with RAVEN
Join us for a FREE one-day workshop to learn the features and functionality of RAVEN. You’ll master how to use RAVEN to produce formal requirements documents with text and diagrams that contain no specification errors. The morning focuses on good Requirements English and learning how to validate written requirements. After lunch, there is a workshop where the instructor will assist you with your own real-world work material.

Course Outline
- Introduction to RAVEN
- Review of use cases
- Primary features of the RAVEN software
- Capturing requirements with RAVEN
- Finding missing requirements
- Identifying and fixing common requirements errors
RAVEN Software
Students will receive a 14-day license for the RAVEN client.
Prerequisites
Students must bring their own laptop with the following minimum requirements:
- Minimum processor speed: 1.26 GHz
- Minimum memory: 512 MB
- Minimum disk space: 80 MB free
- Operating system: Microsoft Windows XP Professional SP2 or Vista
- Microsoft Word 2003 or later
- Microsoft .NET Framework version 2.0 or higher
